Cardiology
Cath Lab with 10-bed ICU. Angiography, angioplasty, and echocardiography for the Amravati division — at public-sector cost.
The Cardiology department launched with Phase II in 2022, bringing the first public-sector Catheterisation Laboratory to the Amravati division. In three years, it has grown to 13,075 OPD visits and 1,901 angiographies.
The Cath Lab operates with a dedicated 10-bed cardiac ICU. The department performs diagnostic angiography and therapeutic angioplasty — procedures that cost ₹2–8 lakh at private hospitals — at zero cost under MJPJAY.
OPD volume has grown from 3,933 (2023-24) to 13,075 (2025-26), a 232% increase in just two years, demonstrating the unmet demand in the division.
