The Cardio-Vascular Thoracic Surgery unit building and infrastructure on the Third Floor is structurally complete. A specialist team is in place. Instruments and equipment are pending to activate open-heart surgical capability.

Space ready — 6 devices neededThe Urology OT is fully operational. A laparoscope is required to perform minimally invasive urological procedures. Currently, patients requiring laparoscopic urology are treated with open surgery or referred out.
OT operational — laparoscope absentThe existing Cath Lab performed 1,901 angiographies in 2025-26. A second lab is planned to reduce wait times and expand capacity for cardiac interventions.
