The Cardiology OPD provides specialist care for all heart-related conditions, operated by a dedicated cardiologist team with access to the hospital's Cath Lab. The clinic handles new cardiac presentations, management of established heart disease, and follow-up care after procedures such as angiography and angioplasty. With 13,075 patients in 2025–26, it has grown fivefold in three years.

Patients experiencing chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, high blood pressure, or referred for heart disease evaluation. Also for post-angiography/angioplasty follow-up.

What to expect

A specialist consultation with history taking, physical examination, and review of ECG/Echo reports if available. The doctor may order further investigations on the same day.

How to prepare

Bring all previous ECG, Echo, angiography, and blood reports. Inform the doctor of all current medications, especially blood thinners.

Free of cost under MJPJAY & PMJAY

Cardiac procedures including angiography and angioplasty are covered under MJPJAY Scheme Code M7/S7.
