RRSH operates a 24-hour Casualty and Emergency department staffed around the clock. The department handles all medical and surgical emergencies including trauma, road accidents, acute coronary events, stroke, poisoning, obstetric emergencies, and paediatric critical illness. Two hospital ambulances are available for patient transport. The Emergency department provides the direct admission pathway for all urgent inpatient care.
Any patient requiring immediate medical attention for a life-threatening or serious acute condition. Do not wait for an appointment — come directly to Casualty for emergencies.
Triage on arrival to assess urgency. Life-threatening conditions are seen immediately. Resuscitation, stabilisation, and admission to the appropriate ward or ICU as required.
All emergency services are available under MJPJAY/PMJAY for eligible patients.
