The Oncology OPD has grown by over 650% in three years, now seeing nearly 8,000 patients annually. The department handles cancer consultations across head & neck, gastrointestinal, gynaecological, breast, and haematological cancers. Surgical oncology is performed in-house; chemotherapy is administered through the dedicated Day Care unit. Patients are assessed by oncosurgeon and medical oncologist teams.
Patients with a suspected or confirmed cancer diagnosis, those requiring second opinion, or patients referred for staging, biopsy, or treatment planning.
A detailed consultation covering history, examination, and review of existing investigations. The doctor may order biopsy, imaging (CT/PET), or blood investigations. For treatment, a multi-disciplinary team plan is formulated.
Bring all previous biopsy reports, imaging, blood tests, and referral letters. If you have already undergone surgery elsewhere, bring the discharge summary and histopathology report.
