The Plastic Surgery OPD provides specialist assessment for complex wounds, burns, reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and congenital deformities. With over 12,000 OPD visits in 2025–26, this is one of the most active plastic surgery outpatient units in public-sector Maharashtra. The department handles cleft lip and palate, hand injuries, skin grafting, and post-burn contracture release.
Patients with burn injuries, chronic non-healing wounds, cleft lip or palate, syndactyly (fused fingers), post-accident facial injuries, keloid scars, or limb reconstruction needs.
A surgical consultation where the doctor will assess the wound or deformity, review photographs or previous records, and recommend a treatment or surgical plan. Dressing services are available at the OPD.
